Inter Milan manager Luciano Spalletti has been appointed to replace the 60-year-old at San Siro after two years at the club with former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.
Spalletti led the Serie A side to fourth place and the final in the championship series ahead of opponents AC Milan, but it couldn’t save his job.
A club statement on Twitter read Thursday: ‘FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that Luciano Spalletti is no longer the main coach of the first team.
“The club wants to thank Spalletti for his work and the results that have been achieved together.”
Antonio Conte, 49, who is expected to take over from Inter, apparently added Chelsea Loanee and Nigerian soccer star Victor Moses, 28, to his Inter Milan list.
According to FCInterNews, Conte is targeting targets he hopes to bring in the summer and Blues wing Victor. Moses is a player he wants to be with him during his two years at Stamford Bridge from 2016.
Moses played an important role in Chelsea, helping to secure the Premier League trophy during the 2016-17 campaign.
