Ubi Franklin had a 3 part interview of the series with the magazine The Native Magazine, labeled “Ubi Franklin vs Iyanya”.

Speaking with Joey Akan, Ubi talked about having pictures of the married women Iyanya has slept with.

He also spoke about the accusations that he “hit” Emma Nyra when she signed the label and the nondisclosure agreement they signed that prohibits her from speaking if she does not risk paying her 10 million naira.

Read excerpts from the interview below;

What happened to Emma Nyra?

We did not agree. You see, the situation of Emma Nyra, I can not say much about it because I am forced by contract to say nothing about our situation. I will not say anything about it. Because if I say something about it, I have a legal claim that I will pay 10 million naira. Therefore, I will not say anything about Emma Nyra. If it does, I would have to raise 10 million because Emma Nyra and I really do not have any problems. Even when she had the twins, we talked. I even sent him a message. Then, we have no problems. These problems are problems that Iyanya is trying to create to exaggerate himself.

Tell me what you know about what happened between Iyanya and the temple music

Yes, it was a one on one conversation we had at his house. He showed me a heated conversation on WhatsApp with the owner of Temple, then. That’s why I could believe that I was having problems with Temple. When he wanted to leave Temple, I said, “Do not leave Temple as you left Made Men.” That is, relieve yourself, solve everything and that’s it. I told him: ‘The fact that you want to leave Temple does not mean you have to fight against them. Now it would become constant. It can not be like it’s the same thing you do wherever you go. People would come and put some trash things around them.

The people from whom he collected money to pay the rent for his house when his landlady chased him. They gave you a car. You were stuck in America and they paid for you. Have you talked to the temple? Ask Iyanya if she told me that she had problems with Temple and that she needed to liquidate her contract with N60 million. Ask him if he told me that.

N60 million, to get out of your contract?

Yes. And I told him I was going to raise the money. Before I raised that money I spoke to him. It took me 24 hours or less to raise that money. When I collected the money, I started calling him, he was not picking up his phone, so I left him. So, for me, you see all these things that Iyanya is saying, ehn, when I look at it, I just laugh. Because I have everything to prove. I have everything to show. If this is what Iyanya is going to do after all my hard work. Now you know? People would comment and say: “This guy Ubi, Ubi is like that, Ubi is like that.” Do you know why they would say that?

All artist managers are hated. You know why? We do the dirty work. So I do not expect anyone to love me. When we leave these artists and we go, that’s when you start to see who these artists are directly and you start to see who they are. Please, what did he say about Emma Nyra?

That had problems in your relationship and physically attacked her repeatedly …

Have you asked Iyanya what happened between him and Yvonne Nelson?

Was Iyanya physically abusing Yvonne Nelson?

(Laughter) It’s from my mouth you would not hear that thing. I promised not to say anything or take Iyanya out.

Did he say he saw you beating Emma Nyra?

Did he advise you to leave?

Bro see, Iyanya is a big liar. He has been saying for many years that he will use Emma Nyra against me. You understand? I did all the work for Emma to make sure. I’m not going to talk about Emma Nyra unless she talks. We have a contract that forces us to say nothing. Why did not you say in your interview that I hit Emma Nyra?

He said that …

Bro, I advise you not to do it. Because he would get all the married women he went to bed with. Your photos side by side for me. Brother, I do not want to talk. Because if you let me do that to him, I’ll drag him across this country. I’m not afraid of shit. What I want about this matter is that people see clarity. If Emma Nyra has problems, she would come and say it herself. Emma Nyra is a mother now. I think your approach is different. And even she would not want to get involved in all this. I wish Iyanya were a father. If he was a father, most of these things are saying he would not. When I kept watching his interviews I kept laughing. Brother, do not let me do this to this guy. If you are writing your story, delete Emma Nyra’s situation because if she is writing about something like that, Emma Nyra needs to speak for herself and with the way Emma and Nyra are tight, we can not talk about each other. We had all our problems and the problems were solved and I have a legal document that supports it. So for me, leave it out of this and focus on something else. Write your post
