Prof. Benjamin Ozumba, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nigeria Nsukka, (UNN) says 174 alumni sacked top of the line praises in its 48th conference.

Ozumba made the declaration in Nsukka on Friday amid the meeting function of the college for conferment of first degrees and recognition endorsements.

He said that 174 packed away top of the line, 3725 made below average upper, 4123 made second class lower, while 1306 ran home with third class and 76 oversaw pass.

” The college has prepared, fed and furnished you with the fortitude to go into the world.

” Be the incredible lion and thunder dependably as you go into the world,” he said.

The VC asked the new alumni to be great represetatives of the college wherever they got themselves.

“I encourage you to keep on maintaining the adage of the University which is ‘To Restore The Dignity of Man’.

“Continuously be great diplomats of your Alma mater wherever you get yourself.

“UNN will proceed to keep and keep up dreams of establishing fathers of the college which is to look for, educate and safeguard, ” he said.

In a comment, the Chancellor of the University, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, said that UNN had remained a superlative reproducer of reliable workforce to benefit the HR needs of the worldwide economy.

“Our alumni are quality guaranteed to serve mankind and also reestablish the poise of man,” he said.

NAN reports that Amarachi Mbah, from Department of Pharmacy was named the best graduating understudy of the 2017/2018 scholastic session.

Mbah, in a meeting with NAN, said she would perpetually stay thankful to God who made her the best among equivalents.

“Today is one of my most joyful days throughout everyday life,” she said.
